French actress Juliette Binoche will be a special guest at this year’s 35th edition of the International Cinematographers’ Film Festival, "Manaki Brothers", to be held September 13-19 in Bitola.
She will be presented the special Golden Camera 300 award for her exceptional contribution in the world of the cinematic art, as her stay in Macedonia coincides with the world premiere of the "Clouds of Sils Maria", a movie specially written for her by the director Olivier Assayas. The same movie will open this year’s festival as well. Alongside Binoche, the movie features also Kristen Stewart and Chloe Grace Moretz .

"We have outdone ourselves again, and Manaki Brothers is definitely approaching the world festivals and comes closer to the stars," said the festival’s director, Labina Mitevska today at the media conference ahead of the festival.
Binoche will be staying two days in Bitola and during her stay she will also hold a master class on Sunday.
The Oscar-winning actress, Juliette Binoche enjoys a status of some of the world’s most famous movie stars. She has recorded 58 movies and was given 28 awards including the Golden Palm in Cannes, the Golden Lion in Berlin, as well as the awards from the European Film Academy. She has starred with Johnny Depp, Samuel L. Jackson and many others. She is also famous for her humanitarian efforts. She has worked extensively with the "Children of Asia" organization, and supports "Reporters without Borders".
At the Manaki Brothers 2014 festival, the total of 76 movies will be screened, allocated in eight categories among which an homage to Macedonian director Milco Mancevski. The Macedonian audience will have the opportunity to see two Macedonian movies: "To the Hilt" by Stole Popov and "The Children of the Sun" by Antonio Mitrikjeski.
